ClassMaster.AI ("we", "our", "us") provides school management software for administrators, teachers, students and parents. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Account information such as name, email, phone number and role (administrator, teacher, student or parent).
School operational data including attendance, fee records, exam marks, timetable and homework submitted through the platform.
Device and usage information such as app version, browser type and general usage patterns, used to improve reliability and performance.
To operate core features — attendance, fees, exams, timetable, transport and communication — as configured by your school.
To send notifications you or your school has enabled, such as attendance alerts, fee reminders and announcements.
To improve platform performance, security and reliability through aggregated, non-identifying usage analysis.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to student and family information is restricted through role-based permissions configured by your school.
We maintain automated, encrypted backups and audit trails for sensitive actions such as grade or fee record changes.
Only authorized personnel with a legitimate operational need can access identifiable student data, and all such access is logged.
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage of the platform. See our Cookie Policy for full detail.
ClassMaster.AI is used by schools to manage information about students, including minors, on behalf of the school as the data controller.
We do not knowingly allow public access to student data, and information about students is only visible to their own school, their parents/guardians, and authorized school staff.
Where a school enables integrations such as payment gateways, SMS or WhatsApp messaging, limited necessary data (e.g. phone number, amount due) is shared with that specific provider solely to deliver the service.
We do not sell student or family data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Parents, students and staff may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting their school administrator or ClassMaster.AI support directly.
Schools, as data controllers for their own student records, are responsible for responding to certain requests in line with applicable local regulations.
Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@classmaster.ai or through our Contact Us page.
